App: Download the Glofox App, find b8A (location set to anywhere) and [Register] at the bottom. You will remain logged in to b8A on the app unless you logout. We highly recommend using the app for convenience and ease of use. Enable notifications to receive waitlist notifications!

Online: Go here and find the [Login/Register] button at the top right of the booking interface. 

You need to be at least 18 years old to register for your own account due to legal requirements surrounding the waiver. If you’re under 18, get your parent/legal guardian to register for you – see next question. 

How to register for under 18s?

Register for your own account first.

App: After registering, the option [Add a Child Account] will appear – follow the prompts. Alternatively, tap the profile icon at the top left, go to [Family accounts] then add family account.

Online: Log in > Profile > My family > Add account 

As the parent or legal guardian of the minor, you will need to agree to the waiver for and on behalf of the minor.

Nope!! You may come and go as you please within the session that your entry pass entitles you to.
If you’re using a normal pass, you may climb anytime we’re open!
If you’re using an Off-Peak pass, you may only climb within the Off-Peak session!

Do I have to book a slot?

You will only need to book a slot for Weekday All-Day sessions as bookings are limited to 45 to prevent overcrowding. Walk-ins are welcome if we are not full. To avoid disappointment, do book beforehand. You may book anytime before the session is over.  

For all other sessions (Weekday Off-Peak, Weekends/PH), no booking limits are in place as we anticipate a natural distribution of climbers throughout the day. Therefore, bookings are not necessary, but we suggest you book when certain of climbing to speed up the check-in process.

Bookings for minors have to be done through the parent/guardian’s log in, but with the minor’s own profile and credits. To access the minor’s profile:

App: Tap profile icon at the top left, go to [Family accounts] then tap on the minor’s name

Online: Log in > Profile > My family > click on [Use] beside minor’s name

How to book for friends?

When making your own booking, add desired number of friends under the {Bring a Friend} function on the app, or under {People attending} on our web booking portal. 

You may not amend your booking (add/remove friends) – to do so you will need to cancel the entire booking and make a new booking. Cancellation policy applies to the entire booking. If it is too late to cancel without penalty, please WhatsApp us for assistance.

If you’re not climbing with your friends, please text/whatsapp 80238313 with your registered number detailing who’s climbing when. Your friends should already be registered with us for us to book them in. 

How to cancel slot?

Cancel your slot on the app on online, under Bookings.

Please note that once you tap the [Cancel] button on the app, the action is performed – there is no subsequent confirmation page.

Cancellations will not be penalised and the entry credit/s will be returned. Returned multi-pass credits have the same validity as before (6/12 months from purchase date) while single entry credits expire 28 days from date of cancellation. 

How does the waitlist work?

If a timeslot is full, you have the option of joining the waitlist, which allows you to receive a notification when a slot becomes available. 

If you are on the app, it will send a notification, so ensure notifications are enabled.
If you are not on the app, you will receive an email. 

You will then have to make your own booking, fastest finger first. 

Can I re-enter?

Re-entries are allowed on the same day.

If you intend to leave and come back, please inform our staff before leaving, otherwise you will not be allowed to re-enter.

If you’re using an Off-Peak pass, you may only re-enter within the Off-Peak session. 

When re-entering, please inform our staff that you are re-entering.

How to purchase passes?

You will first need to register with us. See {How to register?} above. 

Purchase passes on the app, online, or offline via PayNow.

How to share passes?

Only Adult 5 and 10 pack multi-passes may be shared.

U-21 5 pack passes cannot be shared. 

How to use U-21 passes?

You must be under the age of 21 to use an U-21 pass. You stop being eligible on your 21st birthday. Leftover credits after turning 21 may be used like a normal credit with a $8 top up payable onsite by PayNow/cash. Credits still expire 6 months from date of purchase.

U-21 passes are only valid for off-peak hours.
U-21 5 pack passes may be used during non off-peak hours with a $4 top up payable onsite by PayNow/cash.

U-21 5 pack passes are not shareable, including with other U-21s. 
U-21 Single Entry is available by walk-in only.

Please have your official photo ID stating your Date of Birth when climbing.

How do I check on my credits?

Tap the profile icon at the top left then tap on [Credits]

If you tap [See used credits], you will be brought to your {Credit usage history} page. To go back, tap the top left corner of the screen. The “go back” symbol is missing. 

Online
Log in > Profile > My membership

What happens if I have both an U-21 and standard credit pack?

Unfortunately we are unable to prioritise using the U-21 credits for booking off-peak slots due to system limitations. Therefore, please check to see that the correct credit was deducted after making your booking.

Please inform us if you experience the following and we will make the adjustment back-end.
1) Booked an off-peak slot but system used standard credit.
2) Booked a peak slot but system used U-21 credit. 

We are sorry for the inconvenience. 

Can the validity of passes be extended?

Yes! You may extend the validity of all your passes for $10 per month (how many passes you have left doesn’t matter) before they expire

Eg. Your passes expire 8 Aug 22. To extend by 1 month to 8 Sep 22, it will cost $10. 

To extend, please get in touch with us by WhatsApp/SMS/email before your passes expire.

Absolutely. Our goal is to broaden the reach of climbing and to introduce newcomers to bouldering. Our walls were designed to be less intimidating and more accommodating, and our setters are tasked to create a wide range of problems that specifically cater to beginners! Stop that worrying and start climbing!

When are your walls reset?

We reset one of four wall sections every Saturday evening. See our Instagram highlights for the current schedule!

We go through a full gym reset every 4 weeks!!

Can children climb?

Yes, children can climb. They need to have their own account registered and their own slot booked.  

Children under the age of 12 MUST be accompanied and supervised by their parent or guardian at all times while at b8A. Parents/guardians have to book a slot too. Unaccompanied children under 12 years old will be denied entry and the entry credit forfeited.

Do note that we do not have problems catering specifically to children. Due to their smaller size, many/most/all problems will be beyond their reach. We suggest children go off the beaten path and use any combination of holds to create their own challenges. 

How do I rent climbing shoes?

If you don’t have your own climbing shoes, you will need to rent from us in order to climb at b8A.

Bring a clean pair of socks and rent from us over the counter. Each pair is $5 by PayNow or cash only.

Children sizes are available.

Do you have showers?

Unfortunately not. 

Can I book b8A for a private event?
